Business Analyst / Report Designer

Position

JOB SUMMARY

The Report Designer will be responsible for transcribing pdf reports output from a legacy accounting solution to report template artifacts for a new accounting solution. The Report Designer will be part of a team that builds, tests and adjusts the reports based on feedback from product, engineering and QA teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a self-organized Report Designer with a strong eye for detail who is able to produce quality work consistently under tight deadlines
Analyze and understand the data within accounting reports
Abstract reports into repeatable components and templates
Collaborate with other functional groups to ask and answer clarifying questions about the reports or the data
Produce report template artifacts to be integrated into a web-based accounting solution
Test and adjust report template artifacts with data to ensure accuracy and consistency with the original reports

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in the software industry
3+ years of experience with report generation tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, Fast Reports
Experience with accounting-based software and reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Above average attention to details
Able to read, write and understand English
Experience with FoxPro and .NET is an asset
